Who We Are
Kodi’s Korner is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue in Colchester, Connecticut. We save dogs from neglect and abandonment, provide medical care and spay/neuter services, and prepare them for loving homes. Our unique fundraising model includes acquiring residential properties to responsibly collect items for resale and auctions, with proceeds directly supporting veterinary care, food, and shelter. Powered by volunteers and community support, we serve Colchester and surrounding towns with compassion, transparency, and lasting impact.
How Our Fundraising Works
Our unique model includes acquiring residential properties to responsibly source items for resale through auctions and online marketplaces. Collectibles, books, and household goods, donated by the community or obtained through property acquisitions, become lifesaving funds that cover veterinary treatment, food, safe shelter, and daily care. All proceeds directly support our rescue efforts, strengthening transparency and long-term sustainability and helping us say yes to more dogs over time.
